Queer Work is a unique initiative dedicated to supporting and empowering LGBTQIA+ refugees in the Netherlands. Our journey, challenges, and impact have been documented in two detailed reports, offering valuable insights into our approach and achievements. In addition to these reports, the project has also sparked academic interest: several master’s students from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam have chosen Queer Work as the focus of their research, exploring themes such as identity, community, and empowerment within the context of forced migration.
